Anika Noni is an American actress and singer. Most famous is her role as Tiana as the Princess, and The Frog's African American Princess. She was named a Disney Legend in 2011. Rose was an Oscar-winning actor who was Lorrell on the screen in Dreamgirls. Anika Rose was born September 6 on the 6th of September, 1972. She is an American actress and singer. She is best known for portraying Tiana the first Disney African-American princess as seen in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in 2011. Also, she has a prominent role, as Lorrell Robinson, on the show Dreamgirls (2007) which received nominations for the Academy Award. And she is the jukebox player LaVerne Ganner on the show Starz's Power. She has also been recognized by her stage performances which include her lead roles as Caroline or Change Caroline or Change (2004) on Broadway in which the Tony Award was won for Best actor in Musical.
